Walk + Talk Model

There’s plenty of known physical and mental health benefits to both movement and nature, and utilizing Walk and Talk as a psychotherapy model is one way to integrate those benefits. This is a non-traditional approach to therapy that can increase integration of mind-body awareness, connect to nature, practice mindfulness, increase emotional regulation, practice experiential interventions and access different parts of the brain than an indoor office setting that may encourage more space for processing.I walk with folks in Rock Creek Park, located in NW Washington, DC.
